The Body Shop: Evening Skincare

The Body Shop Haul

For me, The Body Shop is the classic ‘oldie but goodie’ brand. It all started way back in primary school, when only the best party bags contained those little pots of Body Shop lip balm, in the classic flavours of strawberry and orange! Then I graduated onto the body butters and shower gels – even today, there’s usual one product from The Body Shop floating around my bathroom.

Recently, I went into my local store on the hunt for the Chamomile Cleansing Butter which everyone seems to be loving. Sadly, it wasn’t in stock at the time, but I did manage to pick up some alternative products and frankly, I think I’m onto some real winners.

Seaweed Purifying Facial Cleanser

I absolutely love the smell of the seaweed range – I don’t know what it is (it’s probably the seaweed!) but it smells gorgeous! I actually look forward to using this lovely cleanser, because not only is the smell amazing, but it leaves my face feeling so soft, refreshed and clean. It’s creamy without being oily and heavy.

Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream

I never used to use a night cream, but since I’ve started I’ve noticed a huge difference to my skin. It feels so much better in the mornings, and my makeup goes on much better! I’ve been experimenting with different brands, but my current favourite is this Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream. Its beautifully thick and creamy while still feeling nice of my skin. There’s a reason this cream is one of their best-selling products!

Body Shop: Vitamin E Night Cream

While we’re on the subject of The Body Shop, I have to mention another one of my favourites! Around once every 2 weeks, I also use some of this gorgeous Rainforest Moisture Hair Butter instead of conditioner (I wash my hair at night because it takes ages to dry!). I leave it on for around 20 mins to half an hour, and it leaves my hair beautifully soft!
