I’ve been dying to get my hands on some Makeup Revolution products for a while now – seems like every beauty blogger has nothing but positive things to say! I had some Christmas money left over, so I could get all the products I wanted in one big haul. So here’s what I got. . .
Iconic 2 looked like my absolute perfect palette – shimmer and matte neutrals, with day to night potential. Can’t ask for much more!
I also got Essential Mattes 2. I always seem to buy shimmer shadows, and I prefer to use mattes for daytime looks.
Of course, I also got the I <3 Make-up Naked Chocolate palette. It even smells like chocolate! (Don’t ask why I smelt it . . .)
Although I’m not the biggest fan of blush, the Ultra Blush and Contour Palette Golden Sugar was just too beautiful not to get. Who knows – it might even convert me to blushed cheeks!
Other blogger’s photos of the Radiant Light highlighters looked gorgeous, so I couldn’t resist snaffling up Exhale.
A lot of people recommend the lipsticks, so I originally planned to get 3. However because of the free shipping, it worked out cheaper to just get 4 lipsticks!
I bought The One . . .
. . . Dare . . .
. . . Fusion . . .
. . . and Make Me Tonight.
I was a little disappointed however, as ‘Make Me Tonight’ looked like a dark plum shade but it’s actually dark brown. Fusion isn’t as dark as I thought it would be either, and along with Dare, they look a little thin and lip-gloss like. These are just very first impression though, so I’ll let you know what I think when I’ve used them.
All that for just over £30! There’s still a lot of stuff on my Makeup Revolution wishlist – for some reason I completely missed the I <3 Makeup section. I probably won’t make another order until I’ve seen how I get on with these things first. I’ve got enough to keep me occupied for a while!
Have you made any purchuses from Makeup Revolution? Do you like their stuff? Let me know!
