Face Mask Mini-Series: Round Up

About two weeks ago, I finished my six week face mask mini-series featuring Montagne Jeunesse masks, and I just wanted to do a little series round-up. I’m an A2 student, I’m hard-wired to write conclusions and evaluations for everything.Montagne Jeunesse Face Masks 1

I bought the six masks in my Post-Christmas-New-Year-Boots-Trolley-Dash. They were only £1 each and on 3 for 2, so I naturally bought six. I’ve seen them around for years, but never really considered whether or not they were actually any good.

Having done this little series, I really can’t recommend them enough. They’re all made of really beneficial natural ingredients which means that they actually give fantastic results. They come in convenient one-use sachets so they don’t spoil; but you still get more than enough to cover your face. If you choose your mask based on the skin issue you want fixed, I promise you won’t be disappointed. And even if you are, you’ve only lost a pound!

My personal favourite of the series was Week Four’s Black Seaweed Peel-Off Mask. This was actually a surprise to me, as it was the mask I was most sceptical about. However, of all six it’s the one that stuck out to me the most. It made my face feel amazingly fresh and clean, like all the gross dirt and old skin had been peeled away; which is probably exactly what happened. It’s also cheap enough for me to make it a weekly occurrence in my beauty regime, which I’m really excited about. I’ve already bought 4 more! (They were 4 for £3 in Boots, they are practically giving these guys away!)

You can read all about the Black Seaweed Peel-Off Mask in Week Four’s post!

The other experiment over these past six weeks was doing a blog series itself. I’ve really enjoyed writing posts for a series, and I think I’ll definitely do it again. I might change around the format a bit though as I would like a bit more variety on my blog. But we’ll see what happens.

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading these as I’ve really enjoyed researching and writing them. I’ve actually learnt a lot about natural ingredients and why particular ones are so popular in cosmetics at the moment – so I hope I’ve taught you something too!

Let me know if you’ve tried any of the Montagne Jeunesse face masks I’ve reviewed, or even some of their others, and how you found them. I’d love to know your thoughts!
