Is it weird to get excited about stuff that your planning to buy? I’m currently writing a list for a Lush haul I plan on doing soon and I’m so excited about it! I’ve recently had a big clear-up of my room and bathroom, and I found quite a few empty Lush containers (along with some other exciting things). I’ve used them all up, in some cases more than once, so it’s clear that these are some of my favourite Lush products. As I’ve got Lush on my mind at the moment, I thought I’d share them with you!
Marilyn Hair Mask/Treatment
I absolutely love this hair mask, and it was the first thing on my haul list; it’s a godsend for my bleached hair. The chamomile smell did take some getting used to, but its grown on me and I like it now. This treatment really did lighten and brighten my hair, and make it super soft and easily tamed. When I bought this the first time, the shop assistant said there was enough in the pot for about 6 applications – I get about 2. I do have really long, thick hair though!
Dark Angels and Angels on Bare Skin Facial Cleansers
Both of these cleansers are amazing. Angels on Bare Skin is really calming, full of ingredients like lavender, kaolin and almond. Dark Angels is more exfoliating, with ingredients like black sugar, charcoal and moisturizing avocado oil. I’m always torn between which of these two I prefer, but at the moment its Dark Angels because I love how clean it leaves my skin feeling. Has to be said though; they’re pretty messy!
Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner
Of all of my Lush empties, this is the product I actually don’t remember buying (or even using)! I found it in my bathroom cupboard, and picked it up thinking ‘this looks interesting. . .ooh, quite fancy using a bit of that’ only to open it and find it was completely empty; which was disappointing. I’ve put this on my list as well, in the hope I’ll rediscover what I loved about it!
Breath of Fresh Air Facial Toner
I bought this little spritzer back when I was revamping my skincare routine. However, I found out that I’m actually not a big fan of toner, as it doesn’t really have any benefits for my skin. I was quite sad about this because I liked the idea of this toner and loved the smell. Despite not becoming a part of my regular skincare routine, I did find a brilliant use for it: on hot days, or times when you just want a refreshing pick-me-up, a couple of sprays of this on your face works wonders! I probably wouldn’t buy this again, but if you do like to use toner I’d really recommend it!
I’ll be taking these clean pots with me to Lush when I next go shopping for recycling, and hopefully they’ll still be doing that five-pots-for-a-free-face-mask promotion (does anyone know if they still do this?).
What are your favourite Lush products? What would you recommend I pick up in my Lush haul?
