You might have guessed, but I’m something of a Boots enthusiast! It’s not a trip downtown unless I pop into Boots, and you can often find me prowling the aisles for hours on end. You can imagine my shock when my sister tells me that she’s found a clearance section.
HOW could I possibly not have discovered this? Tucked away in a discreet corner on the upper floor are a couple of little shelves full of reduced stuff. If I didn’t know there was a clearance section, I figured a lot of other people might not either! I’m warning you, there’s likely to be a lot of rubbish there (£1 Union J charm bracelets anyone?). However, with a bit of luck and some time spent searching, you can get some really great bargains. I’m always nipping up for a quick look now!
I got these two No7 Serums for just £3 each! I think the Pore Refining Serum used to retail for somewhere around £13, but it’s been discontinued/rebranded (you can find a similar one here). The Instant Radiance Beauty Balm is available on the Boots International website for £17, so I got it at a bit of a steal. I’m enjoying using both products, especially the Instant Radiance Balm – let me know if you’d like a full review!
I’ve been looking to expand my makeup brush collection, so when I saw this EcoTools Flat Eyeliner Brush for just £1, I couldn’t not buy it. I’m interested to try and experiment with different ways of using it, as I haven’t ever used a brush in this style before.
Finally, I picked up this gorgeous Essie nail polish in Go Overboard for just £3; that’s better than half price! I absolutely love the colour, and aside from some slight sticky residue on the bottle, there’s nothing wrong with it.
As you can see, it’s really worth checking your local store to see if it has a clearance section! You never know what deals you could find . . .
