I can’t believe it’s already been a month since my last playlist – where is the time going?! If I’m honest, the quicker it goes, the better; I just want to get these A2 exams over and done with so I can enjoy my summer and get to uni! I loved making my last playlist, so I’ve decided it’s time for another. This one includes a lot of my absolute favourite songs, as well as a couple of new finds. These really are my favourites: Recover and Hide are the two most played songs on my iTunes – of over 900 songs!
1. Recover – Dexters* [Play]
2. Hide – Little May* [Play]
3. Hold On – Sons of the East* [Play]
4. 1983 – Neon Trees [Play]
5. Peaches – In The Valley Below* [Play]
6. Humanimal – Fire In The Hamptons [Play]
7. In The Next Room – Neon Trees [Play]
8. Oceans (Demo Version) – Dexters I actually prefer the rawness of this demo version to the version they released on their album! [Play]
9. Only The Brave – The Last Royals* [Play]
10. Summertime Sadness – Sons of the East [Play]
11. Love in the 21st Century – Neon Trees [Play]
12. Stargazer – Fire In The Hamptons [Play]
I’ve put stars next to my absolute must-plays!
I know a lot of these bands are relatively unknown (I have YouTube to thank for helping me discover them), so I’d be so happy if I helped get their name out. I promise you, they’re all amazing and deserve so much more recognition.
Let me know if you like any of the songs, or if there’s any music you think I’d like!
