(Another) Makeup Revolution Haul

Makeup Revolution Haul

I did another Makeup Revolution Haul way back in January, and it is by far my most popular post, so it seemed crazy not to share my latest haul with you!

I do feel like all I’ve been posting recently is hauls. It’s no secret that I cope with stress by shopping, usually online, so that probably explains why I’ve been spending so much money during study leave. Even now revision’s finished, it’s hard to break the habit . . .

Anyway, I was super lucky when I made this order, as Makeup Revolution had an offer on where I would get a free gift if I spent over £25. Altogether, I got about £19 worth of free stuff – that’s including sale prices! Just another reason to love Makeup Revolution!

Beyond Flawless Eyeshadow Palette

My obsession with nude eyeshadow palettes doesn’t seem to be fading, so naturally I bought another (three). All the shadows in this palette seem fairly shimmery, some a lot more than others. I absolutely love the range of shades; I think the golds and taupes will be my favourite, but even the peachy shades are on the right side of pink for me.

Flawless Matte Eyeshadow Palette

9 times out of 10, I find eyeshadow palettes tend to be mostly shimmers with the odd matte shade. My collection of eyeshadows is definitely shimmer-heavy, which is why I picked up this 32 shade matte palette. The tones are very similar to the Beyond Flawless palette, which is brilliant because it means I can create looks using both palettes really easily.

I ♡ Makeup Blushing Hearts Highligher in Goddess of Faith

I’ve been lusting over these gorgeous Blushing Hearts for ages – there hardly seems to be a blogger who doesn’t own at least one! I love the peachy/creamy tones in this gorgeous highlighter and I seriously cannot wait to try it out.

I ♡ Makeup Blushing Hearts Bronzer in Summer of Love

I also picked up this triple baked bronzer from the Blushing Hearts range. I cannot get over how super-cute the packaging is! Summer of Love looks so lovely, and it’s the perfect shade for my face! I love the effect of the very subtle shimmer; I’m reaching for this bronzer most mornings.

All the following products I got for free!

I ♡ Makeup Go! Palettes in Go to Heaven

This isn’t the sort of palette I would have picked up myself; a lot of the shades seem to have quite a pinkish/purple-ish tone to them (can you tell I don’t like pink eyeshadow?). However, the colours are definitely growing on me, so I’m actually looking forward to trying this palette out. It’s also got quite an interesting design, even if some of the pans do look a bit small!

I ♡ Makeup Eyeshadow Palette in I Heart Passion

Again, this really isn’t the kind of palette I would have chosen. Firstly, I’m undecided about the pink heart on the packaging – it looks a little gaudy to me. It’s also slightly odd, as not one of the shades inside is pink! I’ve been mulling over this palette and I think, I think, I can make it work for me. A couple of the shades look really beautiful to me, but I doubt I’ll get much use out of the bright purples, blue and green!

The One Blush Stick in Pink

I’m not a big blush user, so I barely have any power blushes – let alone creams! Still, I really love the look of this blush stick, as I can’t get over how neat the packaging is! It’s so round and flat and perfect.  It’s not something I would’ve bought myself, but I’m really excited to try out a new kind of product – especially as this can be used on cheeks or lips, and wet or dry.

Kajal Eyeliner

This is by far one of the most terrifying makeup products I’ve ever seen! I’ve done some research, and I think it’s some sort of eyeliner thing?! I don’t know . . . I’ll experiment and get back to you . . .

Amazing Curl Mascara

As far as mascara goes, you’ll be hard pressed to find me using anything other than Benefit! I will admit to being a complete mascara-snob, so I’m really not expecting much from a £2 mascara. Having said that, I’m intrigued to give it a go. The shape of the wand does remind me of Roller Lash/Maybelline’s Lash Sensational though, so I’m assuming it’s going for the same sort of curling effect – well, it is called Amazing Curl!

Amazing Care Lipstick in Love Pink!

I can’t decide whether I like the clear outside/coloured core of these lipsticks! I do think they look interesting though, and something a bit different from the average design. I hardly own any bright pink lip producsts so I hope the pigmentation of Love Pink! is good; I’d love to see if I like them.

Amazing Care Lipstick in Love a Hug

Love a Hug is a very similar to Love Pink!, but with a more red tone. I don’t think I’ve got another colour like it, so I’ll be interested to see if it suits me. Both lipsticks claim to be ‘hydrating and moisturising with amazing hot colour’ because of the Argan Oil in the clear layer, so I’m expecting pretty good things.

And that’s everything! Once again, I’m blown away by the value for money that Makeup Revolution offers, especially when you take advantage of any special offers or deals they have on. I’m very excited to try out all my new stuff – let me know if there’s anything you want a full review of!
