I’ve seen this 5 Product Face challenge on a couple of other blogs, and I thought it was such a good idea. I think it’s so interesting to see what people choose when they can only have the bare minimum – do they focus on base, lips, eyes etc.? Having said that, it’s also been pretty interesting to see what I’d choose!
Usually, for an everyday look, I use around 15 products, so choosing just 5 was a struggle! The one thing I did forfeit completely was lip products. I’m quite happy with the colour of my lips, and sometimes go without anyway. Reluctantly, I left out any ‘cheek’ products too, like highlighters, bronzers, blushers etc. The rest of my face might look a bit flat, but at least I’ll have my eyes!
1. Revlon Colourstay 24H Foundation
2. Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer
These are two of my favourite base products. They even out my skin tone and cover my blemishes brilliantly, while both having great staying power (which I’ll need as I’m going without powder!)
3. Soap & Glory Brow Archery
Because no girl should be without her brows.
4. Rimmel Scandaleyes Pencil Eyeliner in Black
5. Benefit Roller Lash
These are another two of my favourite products. I’d put the pencil liner on my upper and lower waterlines to define my eyes, and possibly on my eyelid like I use liquid liner if I was really desperate! Roller Lash is my best mascara for getting long lashes without using my Dior eyelash primer.
I’ve tried to cut out as much of my messy room as I can, but you can still see moving boxes in the background!
As you can see, using just 5 products creates a really natural makeup look. What would you choose for your ‘5 Product Face’?

(I asked my mum about what makeup she uses everyday to see what she would pick for her 5 products, and it turns out that’s all she uses anyway!)
